Auto CAD Draughtsmen - Job Vacancies

You will be working as an Architectural Draughtsman, conducting site surveys and producing technical drawings. You will be working within a friendly team environment assisting other members of the team producing Working drawings for a multitude of different residential projects.

The Auto CAD Draughtsman’s responsibilities include:

• Experience in AutoCAD drawings for preparation of Municipal/Pradeshiya shaba/UDA/Urban Council submission plans.
• Implement the development of preliminary presentations and construction documentation.
• Ensure accurate CAD drawings according to company standards or client’s standards.
• This position is responsible for understanding and completing drawings in accordance with project specifications and various industry survey standards.
• Creating a preliminary and/or final sketch of proposed drawings, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.
• Modifying drawings as directed by project manager or project surveyor.
• Provides architectural drafting including details, plans, sections and elevations in accordance with firm standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with other surveyors and engineers to insure a coordinated design.
• Probable involvement in project decisions.
• Supporting other team members to deliver drawings on time.
• Working on a range of CAD design – engineering solutions.
• Work with clients, contractors and local officials under the direction of the project architect to coordinate construction issues.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary.
• Mentor junior designers in computer aided drawing, code research, product research, and construction document creation, drawing and detailing.
• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Preferred:

• Knowledge in Revit Architecture is a plus but not required.
• Be responsible for high quality work.
• Basic 3D Modelling in Autocad is also Preffered.
